Music is my life!

Picture
Wether it's rock or hip hop, it's art to me. I felt in love with music when I was about 10-years-old. The very first genres that I listened to were freestyle and hip hop. At that time I didn't own any CDs or had a CD player. All I had was a radio. The radio was always on KTU 103.5FM. By 2001 I was well into music. That same year America was stunned. For the whole month of September America was grieving. That did not stop music at all. On the same day of the 9/11 attacks, Jay-Z released his sixth studio album titled "The Blueprint". As time painfully flew by Eminem was ready to release his third studio album. At that time I didn't know who he was nor did I have heard a song about him before. Two albums were released that year that caught my attention.
One album was none other than "The Eminem Show" by Eminem and the other was "Nellyville" by Nelly. The two singles off from those albums that vaught my attention were: "Without Me" and "Hot in Herre". Fast foward to 2003 and there he was, none other than 50 Cent. With the street single "Wanksta" giving him a big buzz he was sure to be the next big thing in hip hop. With his fullow up single "In Da Club produced" by Dr. Dre, 50 was already in the show biz. He released his mainstream album "Get Rich or Die Tryin'". The album managed to mark 50 in the history books. GRODT sold nearly over 7 million copies by the end of the year. As years passed by my music taste evolved. By 2006 I was well into hip hop and also into reggaeton. A new genre that involved reggae, salsa, and hip hop elements.
By the summer of 2008 I was into rock. The song and band that got me into rock was "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. As my love for rock grew I began discovering new bands that I didn't know such as Aerosmith, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Velvet Revolver, Van Halen, Saving Abel, and the list goes on and on. Now in 2009 I had digged deep into the several sub genres of rock such as alternative, grunge, and metal. What does the future hold for me, well that's still to be seen but what I do know is that I will die listening to music.
